Author Norma Day
Former fashion model Norma Day contracted Karen Pressley to co-author a book manuscript that encompassed her experiences in the fashion industry, internal and external beauty tips, and wisdom learned as a wife, mother, and mentor while owner of a beauty school. Norma's desire was to provide a testimony to God's transforming power and beauty of his love, which shaped her life. As a former fashion designer, Karen contributed numerous original sections on personal style, tasteful dressing, and color basics.
Karen authored the book proposal and presented it to Harvest House Publishers in Eugene, Oregon. Norma and Karen were contracted by Harvest House for their book, Seven Secrets to Timeless Beauty: Discover and Maximize Your Personal Style, with the foreword written by Kay Arthur (2005).

What others are saying about Seven Secrets to Timeless Beauty ...
"On the stage of life, God desires us to be contented women because we know that He has created us in His image. Through God's transofmring love, we are all beautiful people. Norma Day inspires us...to be the women that God wants us to be, which is beautiful indeed."
- Deen Day Sanders
Board of Directors, The Day Companies
"It's too bad I didn'[t get to read this book 60 years ago. I might have become a butterfly instead of a down-to-earth Valley broad. So, whether you're a tomboy or a shy little flower, this book is your answer. Read on! And may God richly bless you from it."
- Jane Russell, actress
"Many women have lost the beauty and grace of being a woman. Either we aren't taught the things Norma Day shares with us...or in our busy-ness of life, we've abandoned what we've learned. This is why my precious friend's book is not only significant but timely...Norma can help you with a 'makeover.' And in the process I think you'll also realize how beloved you are to God and how he created you to be a woman of God..."
